Summer Time: Chapter 2: Taos and ABQ, NM

We spent three wonderful weeks in New Mexico visiting with my (Leanne's) family.  We started our time in Taos, with four amazing days of being outdoors and seeing loved ones.  Chris and my brother fished, and even our niece caught one!

We biked to the Rio Grande River Gorge and took other smaller rides.

Had amazing New Mexican food, all filled or smothered with roasted green chili.  Our favorite was the chili rellenos at the Taos Inn for my mom's birthday.

We visited the Taos Pueblo, and once again ate more green chili.

And on our last day we all hiked to Williams Lake.  It truly was a wonderful family vacation and a great way to start our time in New Mexico.

We then headed to Albuquerque to see friends and my dad.  It was a treat to see old friends and meet and celebrate their growing families.

Making Jell-O Fish tanks and safaris in the backyeard with Charlie, our niece, and hikes in the Sandia mountains of Albuquerque.
